Welcome
to terencedonovannews.org. This site is designed to provide
information about Terence's career and
current projects.
Terence is currently organising a regional tour of Mannix, a one man
show written by Rod Quantock, about Daniel Mannix, the Irish
Catholic Archbishop of Melbourne, from 1917 to 1963. The play begins
with his arrival in Melbourne in 1913 and focuses on the
incredible impact he had upon politics and social justice.
In addition to the central role of Mannix, Terence plays a range of
characters throughout the play. This piece enables him to combine his
acting and singing skills, performing monologues and Irish ballads.
You can find further information about this production at
Mannix The Play.
Last August Terence kindly agreed that I could interview him about his career;
you can find the transcript on the
Interview page.
